One of the founding principles of the Independent
Oracle Users Group (IOUG) is
there is strength in numbers. This strength is generated by the
vast community of Oracle users and regional user groups that align
themselves with the IOUG through membership, volunteerism, education,
and networking. This strength allows the IOUG to have its voice
heard by the Oracle Corporation, the media, and others. The voice
advocates for the needs and desires of the Oracle user community.
